I have owned Dobermanns since 1994 when I acquired my first Dobermann female. Since then I have actively competed in breed (beauty), obedience, 
agility and dog jumping. My 4 Dobermanns live as part of my family on our farm. They are sociable dogs, good with people and children 
(I have 2 young boys), yet they actively guard their territory.

As a Dobermann breeder, it is important for me that a potential Dobermann puppy owner understands that Dobermanns are active, busy dogs that do require attention.
The most important consideration for me when I breed are puppies that have good temperaments that can fit easily into your family life - 
remembering that they still require attention and discipline. Dobermanns are just like children, they need firm yet loving discipline
and will make the ideal companion if you direct their energies appropriately.

I only breed occasionally (generally when I want to keep a puppy) but please check out the puppies page for info on current or planned litters.
